Sampson (Gelding)
Nickname: Dark Knight
Breed: Percheron
Birthday: March, 1998
Height: 19.1hh
My Story:
Sampson is a giant Percheron gelding, with an absolutely sweet personality. He came to the Mile-High Vaulters from California in 2004. He loves watermelon, being bathed, and lots of attention. He is big enough to carry the team without even noticing the added weight. He has a lovely rolling canter and a broad back that makes it easy to do tricks on him. He is a little lazy under saddle, but fun to ride as well. We have taken him to a few horse shows, and he has placed well in English classes.

Ranger (Gelding)
Nickname: Scarecrow (If I only had a brain)
Breed: 1/2 Belgian, 1/2 Paint
Birthday: March, 2002
Height: 16.2hh
My Story:
Ranger is our beautiful red and white Pinto vaulting and riding horse. We are still working on his vaulting horse education, but he is now carrying compulsories and freestyles. He loves to canter, and he never tires out, and he seems to enjoy it a lot. He and Eric also won the, "Hidalgo look-alike," contest at Octoberfest. See photo below.
